What is PoisedNotes, and how does it differ from other text editors?: PoisedNotes is a modern text editor that focuses on user control over data. It is a true buy-once application with true control over local/cloud sync.

PoisedNotes is highly optimized for plain text, with support for rich text features via markup.
Is PoisedNotes truly offline/local first?: Yes! PoisedNotes is preconfigured to start in local/offline mode. It will never go online unless you explicitely enable the online sync.
Is PoisedNotes suitable for team projects?: Absolutely. PoisedNotes is designed to be scalable and is well-suited for teams of any size, from small 2-3 person teams to large enterprise organizations. Its focus on performance ensures that your docs will sync quickly, even as your content and team size grows.
What are the collaboration options?: Enabling the Online sync option in PoisedNotes lets you sync your files with the cloud. You can share your files with other people and collaborate + edit files in realtime or at your leisure.

This means you can actively see each other edits in realtime in your document.

Please note that if you toggle offline mode while anybody else makes changes to the file, you will be prompted to decide which document should be the master content.
How does PoisedNotes handle content conflict-resolution when local version differs from cloud version?: PoisedNotes has a wholistic approach to conflict resolution - once it detects there's any conflict, it prompts the user to decide which content is to be considered "main" content.

The decision is as well wholistic - once the user decides which content is to be deemed the main content, the main content is synced on both local and cloud storage.
How does PoisedNotes handle PDFs?: PoisedNotes generates PDFs on the client side - on your local computer. We NEVER store your PDF, nor do we have any knowledge on any PDF generation.
What are the licence options for PoisedNotes?: PoisedNotes has two licence options: Individual + Teams Licence.

Individual Licence is the main/default licence. In addition to that, we offer a teams licence where you can get a discounted licence per team member.
